Mil Palmeras Costa Blanca

Review of Mil Palmeras – A charming Costa Blanca coastal urbanization positioned in between Cabo Roig and Torre de la Horadada on the sea-side of the N-332 coast highway, Mil Palmeras is just one of the fine resorts of the area known as the Orihuela Costa The name Mil Palmeras literally translates as one thousand palms. Mil Palmeras is a quiet and peaceful seaside urbanization that only generally gets busy during the hot summer months. It is a very popular destination mostly due to its wonderful sandy beaches, warm and clear waters, close proximity to golf, terrific amenities and its temperate climate. Overall a typical Spanish seaside resort and suitable for a stress free holiday in the sun.

The beach is referred to as Playa de Mil Palmeras and stretches along to another beach known as Riomar. It has all of the customary features for instance toilets, sunbeds, chiringuito, sun umbrellas, volley ball, changing area, pedallos for hire and a car park. Mil Palmeras beach is definitely one of the best beaches you will see on the Orihuela Costa with the sparkling clear waters of the Med and clean well cared for sand.

With the area benefiting from around 300 days of sun annually, it is no wonder that the weather is among the primary attractions that the town has to offer. The best conditions are throughout the period of May to October and that’s the time when the area really starts to buzz with travellers from all over Europe and Spain itself descending on the area. Nevertheless the winter season still offer up excellent weather, meaning that it is also a popular spot for wintertime holidays for anyone planning to get away from the long dark winters of the countries of Northern Europe. So for winter or summer sun head for Mil Palmeras Orihuela Costa.

In easy reach of Mil Palmeras are: Pilar de la Horadada, Playa Flamenca, La Regia, Los Dolses, El Mojon and others.

Mil Palmeras is easily accessed from both San Javier (Murcia) and Alicante airports by using the N-332 or the AP-7 motorway, El Altet (Alicante) airport is forty-five minutes away and San Javier (Murcia) airport is nineteen kilometres drive.
